Suggested prerequisites: AWS Technical Essentials or AWS Cloud Practitioner Essentials or equivalent practical knowledge. Basic networking.

The Architecting on AWS course is designed for solutions architects, solution-design engineers, and developers who want to learn about AWS architecture.
Over 3 days, participants will discover how to use AWS services to create resilient, secure, and highly available IT solutions.
The course covers various topics, including account security, networking, compute resources, storage options, databases, monitoring, automation, containers, serverless architecture, edge services, and backup and recovery. Instructors will guide students through real-life scenarios and best practices based on the AWS Well-Architected Framework.
The course includes presentations, group discussions, demonstrations, assessments, and hands-on labs to reinforce learning. By the end of the course, participants will have the opportunity to build a solution and apply their knowledge.
The course is aimed at solutions architects, solution-design engineers, developers interested in AWS architecture, and those preparing for the AWS Solutions Architect-Associate certification. It is recommended that attendees have completed the AWS Cloud Practitioner Essentials or AWS Technical Essentials, possess a working knowledge of distributed systems, and be familiar with networking concepts, IP addressing, multi-tier architectures, and cloud computing.
