Exam Prep: AWS Certified Machine Learning Engineer – Associate (MLA-C01)

This 1-day course helps you prepare for the AWS Certified Machine Learning Engineer – Associate (MLA-C01) exam.

The Exam Prep: AWS Certified Machine Learning Engineer – Associate (MLA-C01) course is an intermediate-level day designed to help you assess how ready you are for the exam, which validates your ability to build, operationalize, and maintain machine learning (ML) solutions and pipelines on the AWS Cloud. You will explore the key areas covered on the exam and see how they relate to developing AI and ML solutions on AWS.

The course includes subject overview presentations, exam-style questions, use cases, and group discussions and activities. We review the four exam domains: data preparation for ML, ML model development, deployment and orchestration of ML workflows, and ML solution monitoring, maintenance, and security. Detailed explanations and walkthroughs of exam-style questions help you reinforce your knowledge, recognize incorrect responses, find gaps in your understanding, and pick up strategies for tackling questions effectively. By the end of the day you will be able to describe the scope and content tested by the exam, evaluate your preparation strategy, and examine and differentiate between use cases.

This course is intended for anyone preparing for the MLA-C01 exam. No specific training is required beforehand, but about one year of experience in a related role, such as backend software developer, DevOps developer, data engineer, or data scientist, is suggested. It also helps to have a basic understanding of common ML algorithms, data engineering fundamentals, CI/CD and infrastructure as code experience, and around one year of experience with Amazon SageMaker AI and other AWS services for ML engineering.
