CompTIA a+ Network

The CompTIA a+ Network course is designed for beginners with little or no networking experience who want to start a path in IT networking. No prior experience is required, so it is a welcoming starting point for anyone exploring the field.

Participants learn how to configure devices and manage connectivity, and explore LANs, both wired and wireless, along with data centers, virtualization and cloud technologies. The course also covers how enterprise applications interact with networks, key network operations such as documentation, performance monitoring and cybersecurity controls, and the fundamentals of troubleshooting common network issues. Further topics include Linux server basics, automating routine tasks with Bash scripts, and database management, data security and backups. Hands-on virtual machine labs, instant feedback and performance reports support the learning.

The course ends with a CompTIA CompCert assessment, and you earn a downloadable Competency Certificate to showcase your achievement. It is not a certification and does not replace full certification training. Instead, it prepares you to confidently begin training for the CompTIA Network+ certification, the natural next step towards entry-level networking roles.
