CompTIA Client Pro
The CompTIA Client Pro course is designed for people who want to administer and support client operating systems in a professional environment, with a focus on Windows. It suits learners with a foundational knowledge of IT concepts and Windows, and some prior experience will help you get the most from the step-by-step instruction and hands-on practice.
Participants learn to install, configure and troubleshoot Windows, manage user accounts and group policies, and keep systems secure. You also learn to configure and troubleshoot network connections, organize file systems and set up storage. In the virtual labs you practise realistic tasks such as managing permissions and system settings, securing clients with firewalls and antivirus software, and handling updates and patches.
The course includes the Client Pro competency assessment, where you complete performance-based tasks in a simulated environment. It also prepares you for the Microsoft MD-102 Endpoint Administrator certification exam, and for roles such as systems administrator, application support analyst, desktop support analyst, help desk specialist or support specialist.
