CompTIA Ethical Hacker Pro
The CompTIA Ethical Hacker Pro course is designed for IT professionals who want to learn how attackers think so they can find weaknesses before anyone else does. It is best suited for learners who already have a foundational knowledge of networking, cybersecurity and basic penetration testing concepts. Step-by-step instruction and hands-on practice are included, but prior experience will help you make the most of the material.
Participants learn to gather and analyze information about systems and networks, identify and assess vulnerabilities, and test defenses by ethically exploiting them. The course also covers finding and mitigating weaknesses in web applications, such as SQL injection and cross-site scripting, securing wireless networks and spotting threats against them. You practise in a contained, fully virtual lab with tools like Nmap and Wireshark, and you learn to document your findings and write penetration test reports with actionable recommendations.
The course includes the Ethical Hacker Pro competency assessment, which has you carry out ethical hacking tasks as performance-based exercises in a simulated environment. It also offers video lessons and practice exams aligned with the CEH objectives, and it points towards roles such as ethical hacker, penetration tester, cybersecurity analyst, vulnerability assessment specialist or security consultant.
