CompTIA Hybrid Server Pro I: Core

The CompTIA Hybrid Server Pro I: Core course is designed for people who want to build foundational skills in administering Windows Server across on-premises and cloud-connected environments. It is best suited for learners with a foundational knowledge of Windows Server and networking concepts. The course offers step-by-step instruction and hands-on practice, and prior experience will help you make the most of it.

Participants learn to install, configure and manage Windows Server in hybrid environments, set up DNS, DHCP and secure network settings, and manage Active Directory and Azure Active Directory. You also learn to configure RAID, Storage Spaces and backup strategies, and to diagnose and resolve server performance issues. All of this is practised in virtual labs, so no dedicated server hardware is needed.

The course includes the Hybrid Server Pro I: Core competency assessment, integrated into the course, in which you complete performance-based tasks that simulate real-world scenarios. It also prepares you for the Microsoft Administering Windows Server Hybrid Core Infrastructure (AZ-800) certification, and for roles such as Windows server administrator, systems administrator, network administrator, cloud systems engineer or technology support specialist.
