CompTIA SecAI+
The CompTIA SecAI+ CY0-001 course is designed for working cybersecurity professionals who want to apply their expertise to the fast-growing world of artificial intelligence. It is not an entry-level program. It suits security analysts, SOC analysts, penetration testers, cloud engineers, DevSecOps engineers and risk and compliance specialists, ideally with three to four years in IT, at least two of them in hands-on cybersecurity, and a certification such as Security+, CySA+ or PenTest+ or equivalent experience.
Throughout the course, participants learn how AI concepts can strengthen an organization’s security posture and how to protect AI systems, including their data, models and infrastructure, with the right controls. You will explore how to use AI to automate workflows, speed up incident response and scale security operations, and how to defend against AI-driven threats such as adversarial attacks, automated malware and the misuse of generative AI. The course also covers integrating AI securely into DevSecOps pipelines and navigating global governance, risk and compliance frameworks so AI is adopted ethically and in line with regulations.
By the end, you will be ready to sit the CompTIA SecAI+ CY0-001 exam, which includes multiple-choice and performance-based questions. As an expansion certification, SecAI+ builds on your existing security credentials and shows employers that you can secure AI and put it to work responsibly.
