This 1-day Tech Adjacent course is a lecture-based tour of Gemini across Google Workspace.
Gemini for Google Workspace shows how the generative AI features in Workspace can improve productivity and efficiency in everyday work. After an introduction to generative AI and responsible use, the twelve modules go app by app. You will use the Gemini app to brainstorm, do deep research and analyze uploaded files, and create custom Gems. You will then write, refine and summarize emails in Gmail, generate and refine content in Docs, create images and refine presentations in Slides, and generate, analyze and visualize data in Sheets.
The course also covers note taking and meetings with Gemini in Google Meet, summarizing and searching across sources in Drive, catching up on discussions in Google Chat, creating videos in Google Vids, and Gemini Notebook and Gemini Notebook for Enterprise for building a knowledge hub. Several modules include hands-on exercises, such as writing an email in Gmail or building a tracker or project plan in Sheets.
