Analyzing and Visualizing Data in Looker
This 1-day course teaches you how to explore and analyze data in Looker, the kind of work that was formerly done mostly by SQL developers and analysts.
In this course we look at Looker’s modern analytics platform and how to find and explore relevant content in your organization’s Looker instance. You will learn how to ask questions of your data using dimensions, measures and filters, work with dashboards and boards, and create more advanced metrics by pivoting data and writing table and offset calculations. You will also create new Looks and dashboards and learn how to share and schedule them, including tile-level dashboard alerts.
The course combines video lectures, demos, quizzes and hands-on labs. Please note that LookML and Looker admin features are not covered.
This course is aimed at business users who need to draw insights from data, and at data analysts responsible for analysis and visualization in their organizations. It is an introductory course.
