Intro to BigQuery: Analytics & Machine Learning
This 3.5-hour Cloud Hero session is a gamified, hands-on challenge that introduces BigQuery and BigQuery ML.
In Intro to BigQuery: Analytics & Machine Learning you get to work with BigQuery, Google’s data warehouse for analyzing massive datasets using familiar SQL, and then go a step further by building machine learning models directly inside BigQuery. The game is made up of four hands-on labs.
You start with BigQuery from the command line, then learn how to ingest new datasets into BigQuery. After that you get started with BigQuery ML, and finally you put it to work by using real-world data to predict taxi fares with a forecasting model.
This session is for anyone who wants to learn BigQuery ML, whether as a stand-alone experience or as a follow-up to the BigQuery Skills Cloud Hero. A basic understanding of BigQuery is expected.
