Building your AI Center of Excellence on Google Cloud helps organizations move from fragmented, siloed AI experiments to a structured, enterprise-wide approach. The AI Center of Excellence is a cross-functional unit that centralizes expertise and governance, and the course is built around four pillars: strategy, structure, governance and scale. Across six modules you make the case for a CoE, build a business-aligned vision and executive sponsorship, choose an operating model and staffing, and apply governance playbooks.
The session combines case studies, demos of Google Cloud tools such as Gemini Enterprise, and exercises and discussions. You will learn to write a formal AI CoE charter with a dual-track mandate, select an operating model that fits your organization’s maturity, and evaluate transformation success with a balanced KPI framework, leaving with a roadmap for your own CoE.
The course is aimed at business leaders, C-suite executives such as CIOs and CDOs, and strategic leads responsible for AI transformation and governance. Participants should know basic cloud concepts and have a general understanding of organizational business strategy. Technical model training and AI or agent deployment are not covered.
