Drug Discovery Essentials on Google Cloud

This 2-3 hour Cloud Sparks session is a short, interactive look at how Google Cloud AI and machine learning can support the drug discovery pipeline.

The course covers how AI affects drug discovery, which AI approaches are used (deep learning, graph neural networks and generative AI), and how the Agent Platform can be used to build scalable, reproducible pipelines. You will also see how BigQuery is used for genomics, proteomics and integrated clinical data, and why ethical governance and explainable AI matter in highly regulated scientific research.

Over four modules, participants learn to describe the value of AI and ML in drug discovery, use Agent Platform to streamline workflows, identify applications of generative AI, and analyze omics and clinical trial data with Google Cloud tools.

This course is aimed at pharmaceutical and biotech leaders and scientists. Google Cloud basics and familiarity with machine learning basics are helpful but not essential.
