Technical AI Governance Essentials – Optimization
This 2-3 hour Cloud Sparks session is a short, interactive course on AI governance from a hands-on, technical perspective.
The course provides a roadmap for organizations to mature their AI governance capabilities, with technical governance positioned as an enabler of speed and innovation. The emphasis is on the technical approach, architecture and implementation of AI governance in a real-world context. You will learn to design architecture patterns for governance-by-design, implement governance strategies at different organizational scales, integrate governance techniques in diverse technical environments, apply optimization and automation approaches, and develop platform designs for governance-as-a-service.
The session includes quiz questions, discussions about legacy integration challenges and future-proof governance architecture, and a tabletop exercise on an uncoordinated optimization incident.
The course is aimed at technical practitioners and technical-adjacent roles, such as data scientists, MLOps engineers, data engineers, cloud security architects and technical leads who design, build and maintain AI systems. Attendees should have a technical background, such as experience implementing production systems.
