Introduction to Al and Machine Learning on Google Cloud
This 1-day course is an introduction to the AI and machine learning offerings on Google Cloud for building both predictive and generative AI projects.
Introduction to AI and Machine Learning on Google Cloud walks through the technologies, products and tools across the data-to-AI life cycle: AI foundations, development and solutions. You start with the AI/ML framework and infrastructure on Google Cloud and build your first model with BigQuery ML. You then compare the options for developing a model, pre-trained APIs, AutoML and custom training, and look at the ML workflow and MLOps.
Four hands-on labs keep it practical: predicting visitor purchases with BigQuery ML, entity and sentiment analysis with the Natural Language API, predicting loan risk with AutoML on Agent Platform, and getting started with Agent Studio. The final module turns to generative AI, with Gemini multimodal, prompt design, model tuning and Model Garden.
The course is aimed at AI developers, data scientists and ML engineers who want to build predictive and generative AI projects on Google Cloud. Participants should have basic knowledge of machine learning concepts and/or prior experience with programming languages such as SQL and Python.
