BigQuery for Data Analysts
In this 2-day course we’re taking a look at how data analysts can get the most out of BigQuery, Google Cloud’s enterprise data warehouse.
The BigQuery for Data Analysts course combines videos, labs and demos to show how to ingest, transform and query your data in BigQuery in order to derive insights that support business decisions. It is available as an instructor-led course and on demand.
Across 9 modules and 10 labs, participants learn the purpose and value of BigQuery, analyze large datasets with SQL, and clean and transform data with SQL. They also look at ingesting new datasets and external data sources, review visualization principles and use Connected Sheets and Looker Studio to present insights, and use Dataform to develop scalable data transformation pipelines. The course also introduces the newer integrations and assistive capabilities in BigQuery Studio.
The course is aimed at data analysts who want to use BigQuery for their analysis needs. The recommended preparation is the Introduction to Data Analytics on Google Cloud course.
