Develop Conversational Agents on Google Cloud

In this 3-day course we’re taking a look at how to design and build conversational agents on Google Cloud.

Conversational Agents, part of AI Applications, offers a graphical interface for building virtual agents, backed by SDKs and APIs. Participants learn how a user’s request is translated into an action and a response, and cover conversational design, routes, pages, entities and parameters, event handlers, and fulfillment. They also learn to use webhooks to reach data and products outside the agent, handle user errors and unexpected requests, and add generative AI features such as generators and generative fallback.

The course also covers testing, agent versions and environments, route groups, design guardrails, and integrating agents with channels such as chat and telephony. It includes seven labs.

This course is aimed at conversational designers, developers and business analysts. Some familiarity with a graphical interface for conversational agents will make learning easier, and an understanding of JSON is helpful.
