Develop Search and Agents with AI Applications
This 1-day course is a hands-on introduction to building search engines and chat applications with AI Applications on Google Cloud.
In Develop Search and Agents with AI Applications you explore the role of Search, Recommendations and Conversational Agents in the enterprise and the options Agent Platform offers for generative AI. You then create search apps with Agent Search, importing structured and unstructured data into data stores and choosing the right engine, and learn why grounding matters and how retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) and the grounding options on Google Cloud keep model outputs trustworthy.
The day also covers Conversational Agents: deterministic versus generative agents, playbooks written with natural language instructions and examples, and data store tools. Across five modules, four labs and four classroom activities, you will integrate Agent Search into an application, ground LLMs with Agent Search, create a chat application, and bring your agents into multi-agent workflows using the Agent Development Kit and Agent Platform.
The course is for customers who want to build generative AI-powered search and conversational applications. Participants need knowledge of basic generative AI concepts and Python programming.
