Google Cloud Infrastructure for Azure Professionals
In this 2-day course we’re taking a look at Google Cloud through the eyes of someone who already knows Azure.
Google Cloud Infrastructure for Azure Professionals is made for cloud architects and engineers with existing Azure knowledge. It compares Google Cloud solutions with their Azure counterparts and guides you in using them, so you can apply what you know and see where the concepts and technologies are similar and where they differ. With 11 labs, you get plenty of hands-on practice building and managing Google Cloud resources.
The course covers resource hierarchy, IAM and service accounts, networking with VPC, Cloud NAT and the interconnect and peering options, and virtual machines in Compute Engine, including Spot VMs. It continues with load balancing and managed instance groups, storage and managed databases, containers and Google Kubernetes Engine (including hybrid and multi-cloud with GKE Enterprise), serverless applications with Cloud Run and Cloud Run Functions, and monitoring with Google Cloud’s operations suite, each compared with Azure where relevant.
The course is aimed at cloud architects and cloud engineers who are experienced with Azure. The only prerequisite is familiarity with Azure terms and concepts.
