Google Cloud Infrastructure for AWS Professionals

In this 2-day course we’re taking a look at Google Cloud through the eyes of someone who already knows AWS.

Google Cloud Infrastructure for AWS Professionals compares Google Cloud solutions with AWS and guides you in using them. You apply what you know about AWS concepts and technologies to explore the similarities and differences in Google Cloud, with hands-on practice building and managing Google Cloud resources across eleven labs.

Over eight modules you will cover resource and access management, networking with Cloud VPN, VPC and Google Cloud Firewall, virtual machines with Compute Engine, load balancing and autoscaling, data storage services, containers with Google Kubernetes Engine, and best practices for deploying and monitoring infrastructure. You will also learn the purpose and use cases of Cloud Run.

The course is aimed at cloud architects and cloud engineers who are experienced with AWS. Familiarity with AWS terms and concepts is the prerequisite.
