Introduction to Data Analytics on Google Cloud
This 1-day course is an introduction to data analytics on Google Cloud, designed for learners with no prior experience in data analytics or Google Cloud.
In this course we cover the basics of data analysis, including collecting, storing, exploring, visualizing and sharing data, and meet Google Cloud’s data analytics tools. You will learn about data sources, data types and storage options, use BigQuery and basic SQL to answer data questions, and use Looker and Looker Studio to build visualizations and dashboards and share them with others.
The course combines video lectures, demos, quizzes and six hands-on labs, with labs such as an introduction to SQL for BigQuery and Cloud SQL, BigLake, and analyzing data with Gemini assistance. In-depth SQL is not covered.
This course is aimed at data analysts. It is recommended that attendees have basic familiarity with SQL and a basic understanding of data concepts such as data types and storage in data lakes and data warehouses.
