Orchestrate BigQuery Workloads with Dataform
This 1-day course is a hands-on introduction to orchestrating BigQuery workloads with Dataform.
Dataform is a service for data analysts to develop, test, version control and schedule complex SQL workflows for data transformation in BigQuery. In the Orchestrate BigQuery Workloads with Dataform course you will explore the components of Dataform core and learn how to define tables and dependencies in SQLX. You will document BigQuery tables and views, understand BigQuery security settings and how to manage them with Dataform, and write assertions to validate your data.
You will then execute SQL workflows in an automated fashion and explore additional advanced use cases. The seven modules are accompanied by four hands-on labs.
The course is aimed at customers working with BigQuery. You should have knowledge of SQL data analysis and BigQuery, as covered in BigQuery for Data Analysis.
