The day starts with the business need for IaC and its benefits, and the features and functionality of Terraform.
Over 5 modules, you get hands-on practice building Google Cloud resources with Terraform, using resources, variables and output values, and building reusable configurations with Terraform modules. You also learn what Terraform state is and why it matters.
The course is aimed at cloud engineers, DevOps engineers and anyone who wants to start automating infrastructure provisioning with Terraform, with a focus on Google Cloud. Attendees should have completed Google Cloud Fundamentals: Core Infrastructure, have basic programming skills and be familiar with using a command line. Cloud Build is not covered.
