GH-900: GitHub Foundations

GitHub Foundations is a two-day introduction for anyone who wants to understand GitHub and its best practices, including administrators and DevOps engineers new to the platform. No prior experience is required, and the hands-on exercises make it easy to start contributing to projects with confidence.

You will explore the benefits of GitHub as a collaborative platform and its core features, from repository management and commits to branches, pull requests and the GitHub flow. You will also look at collaboration through issues and discussions, and learn to manage your notifications and subscriptions.

The course prepares you for the GitHub Foundations certification, a solid first credential for working with GitHub.
